Far from a dry, technical text, Frey's book is informative, and attractive--not surprising since she emphasizes both content and art design as basic elements for a successful blog.
You don't just hear Frey's words though. She shares advice from at least a dozen successful bloggers. She offers suggestions for finding a service provider, deciding whether to self-host or choose a third-party site, and suggestions on improving content quality. She also offers practical suggestions for improving site traffic, and some basic direction on choosing keywords for search engine optimization.
All of this helpful information is contained on page after beautiful page chock-full of examples of beautiful blog pages, widgets, and experience from her own blog. It's fun and helpful for both the experienced blogger and the novice. Blog on!
